contemporary Hungarian music

The Vass Lajos Kórus is a mixed choir based in Székesfehérvár and its surroundings, founded in 1903. It has a long tradition of performing and recording oratorical works, and is known for its three main profiles: contemporary Hungarian music, a cappella literature, and the performance of major oratorical works. The choir is open to all ages and skill levels, and emphasizes the Kodály concept in its music education.
