Purcell Kórus
Purcell Kórus is a long-standing choir based in Hungary, known for its performances of early music. It has been active for over 30 years and collaborates with the Orfeo Zenekar, one of Hungary's most respected early music ensembles. The choir is dedicated to performing a wide range of early music from the 17th to 18th centuries, including works by composers such as Handel, Purcell, and others.

Purcell Kórus was founded in 1990 by Vashegyi György, who also founded the Orfeo Zenekar. The two ensembles have become one of the most respected early music groups in Hungary, known for their extensive repertoire and collaborations with other early music ensembles both nationally and internationally.
